Girls Invited to Work with the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Nominees
The Sisterhood members and girls ages 9 and 10 were invited to work with the 2014 NCAA Woman of the Year nominees. They were also invited to attend the awards dinner the following evening. This was a very exciting opportunity for the girls to work with women who have succeeded not only in athletics, but in academics and community service. What a great example for our girls! This is an experience they will remember for many years to come!
Franklin College Students Get Involved through FOCUS Day
Franklin College Freshman spend their first weekend at Franklin College volunteering their time to local organizations/businesses. The students help make repairs, paint, clean, and organize Girls Inc. This year, the volunteers helped run carnival games for our Go Bananas for Girls Inc. Walk & Family Fun event. We are thankful for their hard work every year!

After taking part in the United Way's Annual Kick-Off Campaign, volunteers are very eager to help us make Girls Inc. an even better place. They take on big projects, such as painting, and planting flowers. Some of this years large projects included sealing the front porch, built shelves on the back porch, weed and plant flowers, paint, and helped to clean and organize the center. Thanks for all the hard work!
